The valuation that we provide is given in good faith, based on the information that you provide. If you provide incorrect information, this may result in a change to our valuation.

Our valuation is valid for 7 days. Our valuation will be confirmed when we carry out a physical inspection of your car.

It is the seller’s responsibility to tell us if there is any outstanding finance agreement on the vehicle. lincscarbuyer will deduct the amount of any outstanding finance from the valuation, and undertake to settle the amount with the finance company.

lincscarbuyer will make payment by cheque or bank transfer, at the seller’s request.

When a valuation is provided for a vehicle, that valuation is based on the following assumptions:

The vehicle has over 1 months MoT
The vehicle is not an import
The vehicle has never been the subject of an insurance write off or used for private hire, rental, driving tuition or as a police vehicle
The vehicle does not have any damage, including interior or mechanical, unless already specfied
The vehicle isn’t a non-runner
The vehicle includes two sets of keys

The seller warrants:

That all information supplied to LincolnCarBuyer is accurate
The vehicle has not been declared as an insurance write-off
The vehicle is not subject to outstanding finance
The mileage reading is accurate
There are no defects other than those that should reasonably be apparent on a visual inspection
That it is the legal owner

When delivering a vehicle to lincscarbuyer the seller must provide the following items:

The V5 Log Book for the vehicle
The sellers passport or photo driving licence
One utility bill (dated within the last 3 months)
Any MoT certificates and service history for the vehicle
Any handbooks for the vehicle
Both sets of car keys
Security codes for the radio
Road fund licence for the vehicle
